Re: Request for Boycott of Blue Man Group

Dear Sister Wallace,

Further to your letter of February 14, 2005 which was shared with our Executive Board. The Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) endorses the boycott of Blue Man Group which will be launched on March 9, 2005. We look forward to working with our affiliates the Canadian Actors' Equity Association (CAEA), the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) and the Toronto Musicians' Association (TMA) to bring about a speedy resolve to this conflict. We will work to ensure that the wider labour movement are aware of the issues surrounding this conflict and how best they may be of assistance to the workers and their unions who are directly involved.

In Solidarity,

Wayne Samuelson
President
